Earlier this month, Kith opened its doors to its newest flagship location, this time in Chicago. To celebrate, they released a World’s Fair collection with Asics, which included four colourways of the Gel-Lyte III model. Today I’m reviewing all of the colourways which represent nations that have hosted a world’s fair in years past. The sequel pair to the 2018 release, Jordan Brand is back with another pair of Air Jordan 3s that pay homage to the South Korean capital – Seoul. This version opts for more cream tones, as opposed to the pure white on the OG, resulting in a more aged appearance. However, the signature red, blue and black tones remain which stay true to the home of the 1988 Olympics. Check out my review for a detailed look and review!

Part of Nike’s World Make series, this pair of the Air Max 1 ’86 represents Korea, and is crafted using a unique mix of materials as a nod to this fashion hub. Featuring layers of tumbled leather, canvas and hemp-like textiles, these are an interesting spin on Nike’s “Big Bubble” version of the Air Max 1. Watch my review to learn more!
South Korean streetwear label, thisisneverthat, recently dropped their latest collaboration with New Balance named “The 2022 Downtown Run”. Part of this collection consisted of the 1906R, a reworked take on the 2009 running shoe. Is New Balance striking gold again just like they did with the 2002R a few years back? One of the most anticipated shoes from the Nike On Air Collection, Gwang Shin’s Air Max 97 represents the busy neon lit streets of his home city, Seoul.
