New Balance continues their push of the 1890 silhouette, with this upcoming collaboration with Stone Island. Releasing two colourways, today I’m reviewing the “Covert Green” pair, which is done in the quintessential Stone Island olive green colour. Built using ripstop nylon, TPU overlays and genuine suede, it’ll be curious to see how these sell when they release on June 4th! Is this a cop or a drop for you?
Coinciding with the re-opening of Kith’s West Hollywood flagship store, the brand linked up with New Balance to release four Made in USA pairs, including the one I’m reviewing today. The 990 V4 in “Dusty Mauve” is built using a mesh base, pigskin suede overlays, and reflective details – all in a mature and wearable colour palette. Nike SB just dropped their altered take on the Air Force 1, making it a version suitable for skateboarding. This first colourway, “Light Orewood Brown”, features a suede upper, lowered footbed for increased ground feel, and the signature puffy SB tongue, all to make this more performance oriented. Nike continues their “Greedy” line of the Air Max 95 with this recent release for Air Max Day 2026. Utilizing the “Big Bubble” version of the AM95, the “Greedy” colourway adopts a mismatch of colours taken from past iconic colourways of the sneaker. Air Max Day 2026 was headlined by two Air Max 95s that Nike collaborated on with the University of Oregon’s Ducks of a Feather brand. One of the two, “Lumber Yard”, is inspired by the timber heritage and lumber industry of the Pacific Northwest. These feature genuine suede layers that have embossed woodgrain on them for thematic effect. Check out my review of one of best Air Maxes of the year so far!

The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 992 “Calm Be The Crater” is the duo’s latest project together. This Made in USA pair features vibrant colours inspired by Oregon’s Crater Lake – with bold blue mesh, hairy suede, and reflective green panels throughout.
