Crafted with elevated materials like tumbled leather and genuine nubucks, these mirror the colours of the famous Air Max 90 in a mix of sail, sport red, pink and brown. Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990 V4 “Intro” (1998) Review
I didn’t get a chance to review these before the year ended, but this past December, Joe Freshgoods and New Balance teamed up again to release a three-sneaker pack inspired by the late 90s, drawing colours from the movie “Belly”. Just when you thought my year was over – I’m back with one final video to close out 2023. Nike Basketball released a brand new take on the Kobe 4 Protro, nicknamed “Gift of Mamba”. Nike Air Max 1 Premium “Keep Rippin, Stop Slippin 2.0” Review
Continuing on with releasing 2.0 versions of iconic Air Max 1s, Nike recently brought back the “Keep Rippin, Stop Slippin” Air Max 1, originally from 2008. Looking totally different from the OGs, this 2.0 version features hairy black suede, smooth leather, and deep red coloured hits on the lining and embroidery. A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 Retro SP “Dawn” Review
A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand close off 2023 with one final collab, this time a two-shoe Air Jordan 5 pack nicknamed “Dawn” and “Dusk”. Today I’ll be reviewing the “Dawn” pair, which is crafted using a light grey suede upper, with vintage detailing, and black and blue accents. Costs x Asics GT-2160 “Shao Ji” Review
Shenzhen-based label, Costs, recently dropped another Asics collaboration, this time on the GT-2160 silhouette. Inspired by “Shao Ji”, a traditional bamboo woven basket, these are crafted in cream tones, with navy blue accents, in a mix of mesh and suede. New Balance 991 (Urban Winter) “Pelican” Review
Releasing later this month, New Balance’s England factory is releasing this Urban Winter version of the New Balance 991. Nicknamed the “Reverse JJJJound” colourway, it features a mix of ripstop, pig suede and other synthetic layers in cream, tan and brown tones.
