One of 2024’s biggest New Balance collabs finally landed in Canada and today I’m reviewing one of the two colourways of the 990 V4 that Auralee collaborated on! The “London Fog” colourway is a beige-based suede constructed sneaker with, mesh and reflective layers, along with hits of pale blue along the heel. The Nike ACG Izy originally released in the late 90s but finally received its first retro treatment with the release a couple months ago. Over the holidays I picked up this “Khaki” colourway, which has that quintessential winter-hiking shoe look, with a lot more comfort and style. Check out my review to learn more about these!
Kith’s latest project with Madison Square Garden saw the release of three New Balance models – a 991 V2, and two Numeric 480s which fall under the brand’s skateboarding line. Salehe Bembury just dropped his newest collaboration with New Balance, called “Prosperity Be The Prize”. This time working on a 530 model, it is inspired by Kyoto’s famous Bamboo Forests, translated with neon yellow and green coloured mesh, suede and synthetic layers. Saucony joined up with Parisian boutique, Starcow, to drop this masterpiece of a colourway of the Progrid Omni 9. Releasing late last week, this colourway features various shades of green along the upper in a combination of mesh, genuine suede, and more. Hints of orange provide some pop along with subtle golden accents as well. Check out my review and see how these are on feet!

Releasing earlier this month was the latest collab between Kith and New Balance. Dropping two pairs, this release consisted of a New Balance 1000, and the pair I’m reviewing today – the 990 V4. This “Moonrock” colourway features a dark beige mesh and suede upper, with cream accents and reflective detailing. And as always, it is made in New Balance’s USA factories. Shenzhen-based boutique, Costs, just launched their newest collaboration, this time with Saucony on the Kinvara 4 RE silhouette. Part of the “Infinite Galaxy” pack, this takes the archive running shoe model but updates it with premium materials like an iridescent Saucony logo on the side.
