Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance ended 2024 with a pre-order of one of their dopest collabs yet. This gorgeous 993 draws inspiration from the bespoke ALD Porsche 993 Turbo, and it exudes that same luxury with premium materials like soft suede and a genuine leather collar. Dropping just in time for summer to kick off, New Balance’s 992 is back in this beautiful “Sweet Caramel” colourway. This Made in USA shoe features similarities to the limited Packer collaboration from years past – with a similar golden suede upper with cream accents (albeit, on a GR model). The New Balance Made in USA collection has begun to roll out their Spring / Summer 2025 line, and one of my faves is the “Avocado” 990 V6. This ultra comfortable model is given bright spring tones of green and cream, perfect for the warmer months ahead. Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance offered another trio of 860 V2s for pre-order last July, and the most wearable pair of the bunch is what I’m reviewing for you all today. To celebrate the 2024 Paris Olympics, New Balance dropped a collection available only at their La Marais store in Paris. Included in this collection which was designed in part by artist Franck Pellegrino, was this 997. This Made in USA model features a unique blend of colours, and the typical quality materials that New Balance is known for.
