My fave from the Nike Sportswear Recycled Canvas pack, my latest review covers the Air Max 90! Constructed out of recycled canvas, foam and leather, these shoes contain approximately 20% reused materials. Beyond that though, they are a beautiful colourway that I was very excited for. Releasing this past weekend, the Air Jordan 13 landed in stores in the “Lucky Green” colourway. Drawing similarities to the Ray Allen PE version from 2011, these incorporate tumbled white leather with hits of black and vibrant green to round out the look. Today the Air Jordan 14 returned in a colourway that could easily pass for being an original! The “Hyper Royal” dropped in stores worldwide, mimicking the look of the classic “Candy Cane” 14s but in a vibrant blue huge instead of the traditional Bulls’ red. Featuring an Indigo-dyed upper that will fade over time, the Air Jordan 12 “Indigo” dropped in late August, and is the topic of my latest review! Looking very similar to the original “Obsidian” colourway from 1997, these feature beautiful shades of blue contrasted with white leather. This coming Saturday, August 15th, the Jordan 5 returns in an all-new “Alternate Bel-Air” colourway. The unofficial sequel to the 2013 release, these incorporate a white leather based upper with patterns and colours reminiscent of the 90s. Check out my detailed review for an early look and to see how these are on feet. Is this going to be a cop or a drop for you?
Last week, Jordan Brand released their latest women’s Air Jordan 1, this time nicknamed the “Satin Snake”. Taking the classic red, white and black colour scheme, they include a satin and faux snake skin leather twist to make these surely stand out. Check out my detailed review for a closer look and to see how these look on feet! Was this a cop or drop for you?
Originally releasing in 2001 as a Japan-exclusive that was limited to 2001 pairs, the Air Jordan 1 High CO.JP “Tokyo” re-released yesterday as a much wider general release nineteen years later. Done in a silver and grey colourway, these include slight changes to the standard Jordan 1 build including a jeweled Wings logo, and a leather tongue. Check out my review to see more!
Inspired by the Gary Payton PEs worn during his time as a LA Laker, Jordan Brand released the “University Gold” Air Jordan 12 this past weekend. Done in a simple black and yellow colour blocking, these are the first time we’ve seen anything like these drop to the public, and it makes sense they pretty much all sold out on release day. Check out video for a closer look and to see them on feet!
