Originally released in 2007, the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 3 finally made its return when they released this past Saturday! Featuring a grey nubuck upper, with the signature elephant print, and hits of orange and red for contrast, these are one of my top releases so far in 2021. Returning true to OG form, the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” is set to return this Saturday, February 13th. Worn famously by MJ during the first half of the 1991-1992 NBA season, these feature a bold deep red nubuck upper with white leather overlays. 2020 marks the 25th anniversary of the legendary Nike Air Max 95, so it’s fitting that Nike brought back the original “Neon” colourway once again. Inspired by the human body, these were designed by Sergio Lozano and is one of those pairs that remain popular no matter how many times they retro. This Saturday the Air Jordan 13 “Hyper Royal” colourway releases worldwide. Flipping the switch from the iconic “Bred” pair, instead of red, a bold blue colour covers the majority of the upper. The rest of the tooling remains unchanged, with 3M hits on the upper, Zoom Air cushioning in the midsole, and a panther paw inspired outsole. Check out my review to learn more!
The Jordan Brand holiday tradition of the Jordan 11 drop is set for December 12th with the “Jubilee” colourway! Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the silhouette, these Jordan 11s incorporate a clean and simple Black and White colour scheme. The addition of lettering on the eyelets changes things up a bit, and it’s finished off with the signature icy sole. The “Nordic Christmas” colourway incorporates a sweater-like knit on the upper, along with a furry liner for an extra cozy feel. My latest review covers the upcoming Air Jordan 1 “Black / Metallic Gold”, set to release November 30th! This colourway is constructed out of black and gold patent leather for a super shiny finish to them. Looking similar to the 2003 mid version, these incorporate a bit more gold to them, but generally have a similar look.
