South Korean streetwear label, thisisneverthat, recently dropped their latest collaboration with New Balance named “The 2022 Downtown Run”. Part of this collection consisted of the 1906R, a reworked take on the 2009 running shoe. Is New Balance striking gold again just like they did with the 2002R a few years back? Today I’m back with another New Balance 2002R review! This time I’m covering the collaboration with Korean streetwear label, thisisneverthat in the “White / Ivory” colourway. A very clean overall look, these incorporate hits of aged / vintage looking colours across the midsole for added personality, while the upper stays minimalistic with white leather, suede and mesh.
