Concepts’ latest project with New Balance is a banger. The 990 V4 “Patina” draws inspiration from the idea of antiques, and heirlooms being passed down, and how things get better with age. This pair features great quality suede, and a colour palette that is elegant and beautiful. Watch my review as I cover all you need to know. I don’t think this is a pair you’d want to pass on.
It’s 1988 all over again. The “True Blue” 3, one of the model’s first colourways to release, is back for the first time after the last retro from a decade ago. This year’s version is crafted with solid materials, improved shape, with a true-to-OG design. Two pink-focused colourways of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low dropped at the end of May, and today I’m reviewing the “Shy Pink” pair. This low top features an upper built out of nubuck and tumbled leathers, in various shades of cream and pink. Cactus Jack and Jumpman co-branding share the spotlight as well. Earls Collection, founded by former pro-rugby player Lewis Brown, released their second collaboration with Asics earlier this month. This pair is inspired by Brown’s upbringing, the concept of home, and translates it perfectly onto the Gel-Cumulus 16 model. As if 2025 couldn’t get crazier, Nike and Tom Sachs officially dropped the Mars Yard 3.0, the third iteration of the NikeCraft outer space inspired sneaker. This pair retains the soul of the first two in the familiar colour scheme but adopts some upgrades including added overlays for durability and a carbon fibre shank plate.
