To celebrate Union LA’s 30th anniversary, they linked up with Jordan Brand once again to release two new colourways of the Air Jordan 4. This “Tent & Trail” collection was headlined by the “Taupe Haze” colourway which channels the late 80s / early 90s fashion trend of the outdoors and camping gear. Done in a vintage look, these incorporate a few changes to the traditional look of the Jordan 4 including a stitched down tongue that had the sneaker world in a frenzy, for both good and bad reasons. Releasing in mid-July, the Air Jordan 1 High returned in the “Light Smoke Grey” colourway. Drawing comparisons to the “Black Toe” Union Jordan 1 for its split-coloured upper, these incorporate a neutral-toned base with a splash of red leather on the upper collar area. What a way to close out the year! Union LA and Jordan Brand teamed up in November to release a collection inspired by vintage wear and style. Headlining the release was the “Storm Blue” Air Jordan 1 which was only available for purchase through Union.
