Joe Freshgood’s latest New Balance project, “Prom to Paris”, features two monochromatic 990 V6s. Today, I’m reviewing one of the two, the “Prom Blue” colourway which covers the entire sneaker with a beautiful light blue shade in a mix of materials like genuine suede and mesh. Action Bronson’s debut collaboration with New Balance sparked waves across the sneaker world with this bold, wild, and even wacky colourway of the 990 V6 model. The 990 V6 “Baklava” was a “love it or hate it” type of shoe, but nonetheless it sold out quick on its release day back in March.
