Nike’s Lunar New Year collection included these Dunk Lows, which mimic the look of the 2011 Air Force 1 which also celebrated the Year of the Rabbit. With a white, blue and red makeup, these are inspired by the colour scheme of the famous Chinese candy, White Rabbit. I recently picked up a general release colourway of the beloved New Balance 2002R, in “Sea Salt / Vintage Teal”. Crafted using a mix of mesh, genuine leather, nubuck and synthetic overlays, the colour blocking on this pair reminds of classic tennis trainers. To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 3 this year, Jordan Brand adopted the familiar “True Blue” colour scheme onto the Air Jordan 1. This brand new colourway for the AJ1 incorporates a mix of blue and white leather, along with grey nubuck on the rear. The original “Chicago” colourway of the Air Jordan 2 is back, just in time to close out 2022. Releasing in stores on December 30th, this pair is as close to the originals as we’ve seen, with a sleeker toe box, soft smooth white leather, and the signature iguana-embossed midpanel.
