As part of Kith’s Winter ’24 line, they dropped a couple of Asics collaborations, including the Gel-Nimbus 10.1 that I’m reviewing today. This pair features white mesh, with silver synthetic leather and TPU overlays resulting in a dark, winteresque vibe. The upper of this shoe is also paired with the tooling of the Gel-Kayano 14, resulting in a familiar but still new fusion. Originally released as a performance running shoe, New Balance recently reintroduced the 740 model, completely retooled as a lifestyle sneaker. The debut general release colourway I’m reviewing is the “White / Marsh Green” colour which features a mesh upper, synthetic green overlays, and a chunky Abzorb foam midsole for cushioning. Adidas recently launched a new silhouette called the Adizero Aruku, which draws inspiration from a 2000s Japan-exclusive running shoe called the Adizero PR. Featuring Swirlfoam technology in the midsole done in a motion-promoting rocker style, these are an incredbly dynamic feeling sneaker under foot. This pair in “Ivory / Blue” is part of the “Tomorrow, Meet Yesterday” pack, and is dressed in more of your classic “dad shoe” look. Jordan Brand continues their “Reimagined” series with the release of the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe”. Mimicking the look of the prototype version without the iconic “Wings” logo, this pair features quality leathers on the upper in the classic red, white and black make up. Travis Scott and Jordan Brand are back with another Air Jordan 1 Low. This familiar looking colourway, “Medium Olive”, was seen in last year’s women’s release, but this version features more olive tones with black accents instead of the inverse for last year’s. Tune into my video for a full review and to see how these are on feet. Anyone else scoop these up (for retail or paid resell)?
Pro-biker, Nigel Sylvester, just launched his second official colourway of his Air Jordan 4 RM collaboration with Jordan Brand. This reworked take on the classic model sees a redesigned upper with a lower cut, but the same tooling as before with visible heel Air. The colourway also pays homage to his roots of learning how to bike on his Grandma’s driveway! Check out the video to learn more!
