The original “Lightning” colourway of the Air Jordan 17 Low finally received its first retro, as Jordan Brand brought them back in late May just a few weeks ago. Staying true to what MJ wore in the 2002 NBA All-Star Game, it features a soft white leather, chrome detailing, and striking yellow along the TPU on the midsole. Releasing for the first time to the public is a player exclusive version of the Air Jordan 3 that MJ wore as a member of the Washington Wizards. Similar to the “True Blue” colourway, this pair switches things up a bit incorporating the Wizards’ team colours of blue, white and copper. Originally dropping in 2003 during Michael Jordan’s final year in the NBA, the Air Jordan 18 returned in its original glory with the retro of the Black & Sport Royal colourway this past October. I picked them up on sale during Black Friday, and I’m here finally with a long overdue review!
