The newest colourway of the NikeCraft x Tom Sachs General Purpose Shoe arrived last week. This “Bricolage” colourway pays homage to Sachs’ design ethos of creating something by repurposing only what’s at hand. The legendary “Tokyo” Air Jordan 5 from 2011 is back! This incredibly limited pair first dropped over a decade ago, and was a Japan-exclusive that dropped to celebrate the T23 basketball tournament sponsored by Jordan Brand. Stone Island Marina dropped their newest project with New Balance, this time turning their attention to the skateboarding silhoutte, the 272. Dropping in three colourways a few weeks ago, today I’ll be reviewing this summer-ready “Ochre” (Yellow) colourway which pairs soft suede with canvas in two tones of yellow. Two giants in the industry, Supreme and Nike, teamed up to release four colourways of the legendary Air Max 1 silhouette. In my latest review, I’m breaking down two of those four – “Varsity Purple” and “Speed Yellow”. Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance offered another trio of 860 V2s for pre-order last July, and the boldest of the bunch is what I’m reviewing for you all today. Salehe Bembury just dropped his newest collaboration with New Balance, called “Prosperity Be The Prize”. This time working on a 530 model, it is inspired by Kyoto’s famous Bamboo Forests, translated with neon yellow and green coloured mesh, suede and synthetic layers. I recently picked up the “University Gold / Black” Zoom Vomero 5 by Nike for under retail. A bright and bold colourway that offers a little something different stylistically, while still retaining incredible comfort that the model is known for. Japanese artist Verdy just dropped his third collaboration with Nike SB, this one inspired by his plush character, Visty.
