This time, I’m breaking down this upcoming colourway nicknamed, “Supersonic”, which consists of white, cream and black detailing, with secret glow in the dark panels on the upper and rubber outsole! I recently picked up a pair of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 that was sitting on sale, in a retro-looking “Wheat Grass / Cacao Wow” colour combination. One of my favourite shoes to wear for comfort, these feature a mix of brown synthetic leather, tan and orange hits, and the Cushlon / Zoom cushioning combo everyone has come to love. Nike continues to pump out new colourways of the Zoom Vomero 5, which includes this one in “Yellow Strike”. This summer ready colourway is filled with bold, vibrant yellow shades, along with reflective 3M hits throughout. As always, the shoe’s exceptional comfort is due to the tech it’s filled with including a Cushlon midsole, Zoom Air under the heel and forefoot, and a lightweight mesh upper.
