Dressed in various shades of grey, this Made in USA pair is constructed out of premium nubuck, leather and mesh. New Balance continued with their 990 Version series with the 990 V3, which originally released back in 2012. This Made in USA pair is done in the classic grey colour scheme, but ruby red hits pay homage to the 990 V1’s upcoming 40th anniversary. New Balance recently released a trio of 550 colourways, headlined by my personal favourite, the Green colourway! Looking similar to the Aime Leon Dore collaboration from 2020, these adopt a similar colour scheme of smooth white leather, with suede overlays and green coloured hits throughout. Working together on the same silhouette, the 2002R, this one is inspired by Havasu Falls in the Grand Canyon, and opts for cooler tones of teal and green with a variety of materials like shaggy suede, mesh and leather.
