As if February didn’t have enough heat releases, we ended the month with the re-release of the Nike Flyknit Trainer in the much loved “Black / White”, or “Oreo” colourway. Always being a fan favourite, these Trainers released almost identical to its OG form and it was to no surprise that they flew off the shelves on the very first day. Nike’s annual Air Max Month starts tomorrow which leads to a culmination on Air Max Day on March 26th! Historically, this month has been a great month for Nike enthusiasts with tons of heat drops, and at least here in Toronto, unique art installations and parties to celebrate the greatness that is Air. With so many pairs releasing, I have to be picky with what I’m planning on copping. With that said, these are the pairs that have caught my eye, sitting at the top of my list:
With the rise of “Dad Shoes” to the mainstream, my latest review covers the ultimate dad shoe of them all – the Nike Air Monarch. Picking up my favourite colourway, in a mix of white, black and varsity red, watch as I break down this staple backyard BBQ classic of a shoe!

Years of research yielded a foam cushioning that was both soft, responsive and durable and has some calling it the “holy grail” of running shoes. The newest silhouette from Nike Sportswear is the Air Max 270 which features the largest heel Air unit ever put on a Nike shoe. Launching in this striking “Hot Punch” colourway, these sold out quickly and if its any indication, means that the Air Max 270 is a model that’s here to stay! The unofficial follow up to 2012’s Galaxy Foamposites, Nike is bringing back the theme once more, this time for the 2018 NBA All-Star festivities! Featuring a nebula print in shades of blue, purple and orange, these will be a must-have for Foamposite fans everywhere. These should be dropping soon just in time for next week’s ASG in LA, so keep your eyes peeled! Anyways, check out my early review to judge for yourself!
