A look ahead to Air Max Month 2018

Nike’s annual Air Max Month starts tomorrow which leads to a culmination on Air Max Day on March 26th! Historically, this month has been a great month for Nike enthusiasts with tons of heat drops, and at least here in Toronto, unique art installations and parties to celebrate the greatness that is Air. With so many pairs releasing, I have to be picky with what I’m planning on copping. With that said, these are the pairs that have caught my eye, sitting at the top of my list:

  • Air Max 270 “Dusty Cactus” – My favourite colourway of the Air Max 270 model so far. These draw inspiration from the classic “Dusty Cactus” Air Max 93 and are slated to drop March 22nd for $150 USD / $200 CAD. Hopefully they aren’t super limited, but I can see these being available at select boutiques only.

  • Air Max 97/1 “Sean Wotherspoon” – This was the pair I voted for during last year’s Vote Forward event (where the public chose from a series of designs which pair they wanted to see released for Air Max Day 2018). A super unique looking shoe, but I’m sure the hype will be through the roof on these. Only question is, how limited are these? Release date is March 26th for $160 USD (and most likely around $220-230 CAD).

  • Atmos x Air Max 1 “Animal Pack 2.0” – Set to be a sequel to the original release in 2007, Japanese label Atmos is teaming up with Nike once again to release this highly coveted Air Max pack that consists of the Air Max 1 and 95. Of the two, I definitely have my sights set on the 1, but seeing how the release of last year’s Elephant Atmos’ went (where I took major L’s) I’m crossing my fingers for this one. These are slated for a European drop on March 17th with no word yet on North America.

This year has been heavy and its only been two months in! What are you guys looking forward to the most? Do you agree or disagree with my picks? Sound off below!
