Today I’m back reviewing another general release New Balance 991 V2! This one is labelled as “Vintage Sport” in an “Off White” colourway, but notably it incorporates hits of red and blue, along with a beautiful gum rubber outsole. Releasing on May 30th is a brand new colourway of the New Balance 993. Named “Sea Salt / Black”, this versatile colourway is built in a mix of white mesh, cream suede, and black overlays. Tomorrow, May 17th, we’ll see the release of the DTLR x New Balance 2002R “Purple Noir”. This exclusive colourway features a unique mix of colours and materials. Joe Freshgoods has linked up with New Balance again, reintroducing the New Balance 1000 to the world. This 1999 running shoe was brought back as part of the “When Things Were Pure” collection consisting of two colourways. The one I’m reviewing today is the “Black Ice” pair, which features an iridescent shiny upper, black mesh and a gum outsole. Did any of you also pick up a pair of these?
New Balance is dipping into their archives, going back to 1999 to bring back the 1000 silhouette. One of the first general release colourways is this one that I’m reviewing today in “Silver Metallic / Black”. A mesh upper is complimented with bold, silver synthetic leather layers, designed with a dynamic and fluid appearance. New Balance is set to release a handful of incredible colourway of their 993 model. First up, releasing on April 25th is this “Chive” colourway which I managed to pickup early – featuring a bright green upper comprised of genuine suede, mesh, reflective panels and more. As New Balance is ready to shelve the 991 V1 model, they ended things with one final pack, aptly called the “Finale Pack”. Consisting of two colourways, these Made in England pairs include the pair I’m reviewing today – the “Delicioso” colourway, which features a perforated nubuck upper, brown suede overlays and an Abzorb midsole.
