New Balance’s newest variation on their 1906 model is here – the 1906A. This version takes the tradition components of the upper and warps them, like overhanging N-Lock straps, and panels that are seemingly coming off the shoe’s upper. Concepts just released this special edition take on the New Balance 1906 called “Hours and Days”, which pays homage to its 2012 “SEAL” collab on the 999 model. Featuring a mesh base with a variety of overlays in different materials, textures and colours, these still channel the soul of the SEAL 999 even though it’s on a brand new silhouette over a decade later. UK retailer, Footpatrol, released this epic New Balance 1906R collab back in May inspired by X-Rays. This colourway features a mesh build in various blue tones, and translucent TPU overlays with white accents. A X-Ray image of a foot adorns the insole as well, tying it back to the theming perfectly. Action Bronson and New Balance have linked up again to release three colourways of the 1906R. After a limited release on his website, on July 12th there was a wider drop which included this “Medusa Azul” colourway. These are crafted out of mesh, with reflective overlays in various tones of blue and tan accents. Tune into my review of this in-demand colourway and leave your opinions down below! Releasing on May 30th is a brand new colourway of the New Balance 993. Named “Sea Salt / Black”, this versatile colourway is built in a mix of white mesh, cream suede, and black overlays. Joe Freshgoods has linked up with New Balance again, reintroducing the New Balance 1000 to the world. This 1999 running shoe was brought back as part of the “When Things Were Pure” collection consisting of two colourways. The one I’m reviewing today is the “Black Ice” pair, which features an iridescent shiny upper, black mesh and a gum outsole. Did any of you also pick up a pair of these?
