Episode 21 of the Channel 8 Podcast is all about Adidas, and for today’s episode, we have one of the biggest Adidas heads I have the pleasure of knowing, Alex Des Roches from the Montreal area, also known as Sugycyphersons! In this episode we discuss how his origins as a break dancer got him into sneakers, along with his perspective as an Adidas employee throughout the crazy hype the brand experienced in 2015-2016.

Adidas Forum Low “White / Blue” Review

The Adidas Canada family sent me a pair of the Forum Low in the classic White / Blue colourway. This is the low-top version of the classic 80s basketball sneaker, constructed out of leather and featuring a removeable strap which I love! Check out my detailed review for a closer look!

Adidas ZX 0000 “Evolution” Review

The Adidas A to ZX 26-pair collection is set to end with the ZX 0000. Representing the letter E for “Evolution”, these were originally a prototype design meant to bridge Adidas between the ZX line in the 80s and the EQT line in the 90s. Finally – they’ve become a reality. Check out my review to get a closer look at these, and let me know if you’re feeling them in the comment section below!

Sean Wotherspoon x Adidas ZX 8000 “SuperEarth” Review

Dropping tomorrow, April 16th, we have Sean Wotherspoon and Adidas’ latest collaboration, the ZX 8000 “SuperEarth”! Part of the 26-pair A to ZX collection, this pair represents the letter W, and is constructed in a mismatching, patchwork fashion using vegan recycled materials. Definitely one of the loudest and wildest pairs in the collection, these are head-turners for sure. Let me know what you think about these down below, and big thanks to Adidas Canada for the pair!

Overkill x Adidas ZX 8500 “Graffiti” Review

Continuing the 26-pair A to ZX collection, representing the letter “O”, Adidas has teamed up with Berlin-based boutique, Overkill, on the all-new ZX 8500. This model incorporates elements of both the ZX 8000 and 9000, and its off the wall colourway is inspired by Berlin, along with Overkill’s graffiti roots. Check out my review for a closer look! These drop in North America on April 30th! Thanks to Adidas Canada for sending over this pair!

Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner “Sand” Review

Definitely one of the most controversially designed Yeezys, the Foam Runner recently released in two new colours and my latest review breaks down the “Sand” colourway. Constructed out of foam, these clogs / slippers / Crocs, or whatever you want to call them, definitely have people talking! How do you feel about these? Let me know down below!

Adidas Forum 84 Low ADV “Chalk White” Review

Recently I picked up the Adidas Forum 84 Low ADV “Chalk White”. This pair, intended for skateboarding, is a low top variation of the Adidas Forum silhouette without the signature strap. Check out my review to learn more about the details and to see how they look on feet! Are you guys feeling these?

Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 “Cream” Review

Adidas recently dropped a new colourway of their Yeezy Boost 700 V2 model. The “Cream” colourway is similar to the original “Static” pair, but it incorporates hits of off-white and cream tones throughout the upper. Check out my review for a closer look and let me know down below if this was a cop or drop for you!
