Legendary pro skateboarder, Ishod Wair, just released his second signature sneaker with Nike SB, named the Air Max Ishod. Dropping in two colourways, today I’m reviewing the “Persian Violet / Obsidian” colourway (from a lifestyle wearer’s perspective), which fuses retro 90 design, Air Max influences, on a pro skateboarder’s silhouette. What are your thoughts on these?

Nike Air Max 1 Premium “Keep Rippin, Stop Slippin 2.0” Review
Continuing on with releasing 2.0 versions of iconic Air Max 1s, Nike recently brought back the “Keep Rippin, Stop Slippin” Air Max 1, originally from 2008. Looking totally different from the OGs, this 2.0 version features hairy black suede, smooth leather, and deep red coloured hits on the lining and embroidery. Is this a worthy sequel to the ’08 classic? Leave your thoughts below!

Nike Air Max 1 Premium “Urawa” (2023) Review
This 2004 Japan-exclusive Air Max 1 is back, with a twist. The “Urawa” colourway pays homage to J League football club, the Urawa Dragons (or Red Diamonds). Releasing originally nearly two decades ago, Nike has brought them back with a reworked colourway, featuring black mesh, and grey and white overlays ontop. Check out my review to learn more!
Nike Air Max 1 ’86 Premium (Big Bubble) “World Make Korea” Review
Part of Nike’s World Make series, this pair of the Air Max 1 ’86 represents Korea, and is crafted using a unique mix of materials as a nod to this fashion hub. Featuring layers of tumbled leather, canvas and hemp-like textiles, these are an interesting spin on Nike’s “Big Bubble” version of the Air Max 1. Watch my review to learn more!
Nike Air Max 1 “Chili 2.0” Review
The “Chili” Air Max 1 from 2003 recently released thirty years later with slight changes to it. Built in typical Air Max 1 fashion, it’s crafted using a mix of meshes and synthetic suedes, and the simple colour blocking ensures it will be a very easy shoe to wear often. Nike Air Max 1 Slide “White / University Red” & “White / Black” Review
Nike recently released a couple of slides, inspired by the look of the iconic Air Max 1. Releasing in two colourways, I picked up both to review, each crafted using a mix of mesh, suede, foam, and of course, the signature visible Air bubble on the heel. Check out my review and let me know if you’d rock these this summer or not!

Nike Air Max 1 Premium “Baltic Blue” (Corduroy) Review
I’m back today with another Air Max 1 review, this time breaking down the details of the “Baltic Blue” (Corduroy) colourway that recently dropped! This unique, vibrant colourway covers the upper in a soft corduroy material, with a bit of contrast on the Swoosh, tongue tag, and midsole. Check out my in-depth review to learn more and to see how these look on feet! Are these a cop or a drop for you?

Nike Air Max 1 Premium “Shima Shima” (Plum Eclipse) Review
Inspired by the 2003 pack of the same name, Nike Sportswear released the “Shima Shima” Air Max 1 in “Plum Eclipse” earlier this year with that signature striped pattern on the inner liner. Featuring a premium leather and suede construction, it takes the classic Air Max 1 colour blocking style with a mix of brown, grey and white. Check out my review and let me know what you think!
