I’m back with another review of Nike’s Zoom Vomero 5 model. This new colourway dropped in late January, ready for Spring 2024. Crafted using a mix of mesh and genuine suede, we also have the traditional materials like the TPU cage and 3M hits, in a very wearable colourway. I recently picked up a pair of women’s Dunks, in a cool colour scheme utilizing shaggy suede on the upper. This “Photon Dust / Light Armory Blue” colourway has a simple look to it but has a bit of a worn-in and aged aesthetic to it due to the use of the suede. Just making it before the end of the year is this brand new “Midnight Navy” colourway of the Air Jordan 3. Adopting the “Fire Red” Air Jordan 3 colour blocking style, this versatile sneaker opts for dark blue accents that compliment the white leather and elephant print. A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand close off 2023 with one final collab, this time a two-shoe Air Jordan 5 pack nicknamed “Dawn” and “Dusk”. Today I’ll be reviewing the “Dawn” pair, which is crafted using a light grey suede upper, with vintage detailing, and black and blue accents. Shenzhen-based label, Costs, recently dropped another Asics collaboration, this time on the GT-2160 silhouette. Inspired by “Shao Ji”, a traditional bamboo woven basket, these are crafted in cream tones, with navy blue accents, in a mix of mesh and suede. Nike just dropped this two shoe “Tweed / Corduroy” pack, consisting of a Nike Air Force 1, and the shoe I’m reviewing today – a Dunk Low. Crafted using a mix of premium fabrics such as tweed, corduroy, wool and more, this is the perfect sneaker to wear in the chillier months with a more grown up look and feel. Last week, Kith released their special collaboration with Madison Square Garden, dropping two colourways of the New Balance 990 V6. Inspired by the teams that call MSG home, the pair I’m reviewing today draw inspiration from the team colours of the NHL’s New York Rangers. This Made in USA pair features a predominantly navy blue upper, with the Rangers’ signature red and blue hits seen throughout, along with an icy outsole as a nod to the sport.
