One of 2024’s biggest New Balance collabs finally landed in Canada and today I’m reviewing one of the two colourways of the 990 V4 that Auralee collaborated on! The “Trooper” colourway is dressed in various shades of blue in premium suedes, mesh and reflective layers. Tune into my review to get my thoughts on these and to see how they are on feet. Earlier this month, Concepts released the second colourway from their champagne-inspired New Balance 740 pack – this one called “Brut”. This lifestyle model features a lightweight mesh upper, reflective panels, a gradient colour scheme, and a chunky Abzorb midsole. This understated colourway features brown mesh, grey synthetic overlays, and neon hits throughout. New Balance and JJJJound released their newest interpretation of the 2002R silhouette, once again made for the winter weather with Gore-Tex! This trail-runner is given lifestyle fashion appeal with white and grey base layers accented with bright red hits! Even though summer is over, Concepts’ latest collaboration with Asics gives us that reminder of warmer days gone by. This “Out of Office” colourway of the Gel-Kayano 14 features tropical tones of cream, red and neon green, dressing up this popular runner as if its on vacation. Australia’s HAL Studios’ latest Asics collab gave the Gel-Kayano 20 a twist. Replacing the traditional lacing with three velcro straps, these feature a fall/winter colour palette in tones of brown, black and red.
