Following a pre-order offered last July, Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance’s latest 860 V2 collaboration finally began landing in consumers’ hands in late January. This three-shoe pack included the pair I’m reviewing today, which is covered in a an off-white coloured mesh with cream synthetic overlays – resulting in a tonal, simple, but easy to wear shoe. Jordan Brand kicks off 2024 with a new colourway of the iconic Air Jordan 1. This “Yellow Ochre” pair features a mix of tumbled leather, buttery smooth nubuck, in a mix of yellow, sail and black. Following the protro release of the original “Grinch” Nike Kobe 6 in 2021, Nike Basketball followed it up with a “Reverse Grinch” colourway that released last week. Swapping the original colours, the signature green upper is now red, while red accents and laces are now a vibrant electric green shade. Continuing on with releasing 2.0 versions of iconic Air Max 1s, Nike recently brought back the “Keep Rippin, Stop Slippin” Air Max 1, originally from 2008. Looking totally different from the OGs, this 2.0 version features hairy black suede, smooth leather, and deep red coloured hits on the lining and embroidery. Colour Plus Companie released the final shoe in the three-shoe Grid Shadow 2 pack with Saucony. Inspired by arctic terrain, this shoe takes a 90s performance running shoe and turns it into more of a trail running shoe with its material and colour choices.
