This OG colourway of the Air Jordan 12 is back after nearly 15 years since its last retro! The “Cherry” or White/Red Air Jordan 12 recently returned in all its glory, with a soft tumbled leather upper, pebbled red leather overlays, and that incredible Zoom Air that first debuted on an Air Jordan model back in ’97. Season 4 of Teddy Santis’ Made in USA New Balance line kicked off with these killer 990 V4s in this “Olive / Incense” colourway. These beauties feature pig suede in a beautiful faded green tone, with beige and brown hits throughout making it perfect for the fall season. For today’s video I’m reviewing one of the latest Saucony Originals releases I’ve had my eye on. This Grid Shadow 2 is inspired by the Saucony Creek Marsh in Kutztown, PA. Ronnie Fieg worked with Adidas Originals and Clarks to design and release the 8th Street Samba – a unique twist on this classic Adidas shoe. Sold out quickly, and then offered up again as a pre-order earlier this year, I finally got my hands on the pair I ordered – the “Summit White” colourway. Today’s video is a bit out of left field as I review (from a lifestyle perspective) the New Balance Fresh Foam More Trail V3. Releasing as part of Grey Day in May, these trail running shoes feature a grey mesh upper, white and blue coloured accents, and a super chunky, plush Fresh Foam X midsole. This vibrant, modern take on this 1980s silhouette features a mix of hairy suede and flat nubuck in a “light menta” colourway. To celebrate the opening of Kith’s Toronto location, they are releasing two Canadian-themed colourways of the New Balance 1700. Today I’m reviewing the “Rococco Red” colourway which was sold first in-store at Kith Toronto to coincide with their opening day. Joe Freshgoods’ latest project with New Balance saw the release of 500 pairs of the 650R model, imaging what it would have been like if Michael Jordan signed with New Balance instead of Nike back in 1984. This premium take on the 650R features a mix of tumbled leather and suede, in a vintage looking cream, grey and white mix. Check out my review and let me know if you think this is just hype, or heat.
Aimé Leon Dore brought back a 1982 tennis sneaker from New Balance – the T500. Releasing as part of the brand’s Fall / Winter 2023 lineup, they dropped in three colourways.
