Australia’s HAL Studios recently dropped their final of three colourways of the Asics GEL-1130. Inspired by the natural world, this minimalistic colourway draws inspiration from the landscapes of glaciers, with a mix of off-white mesh, suede, and brown leathers. Collegium is back with their latest silhouette – the Pillar Trail. Debuting in the “Sequoia” colourway, this shoe is suitable for both the streets and in nature. But while its colourway is reminiscent of classic ACG vibes, the materials are elevated, utilizing premium Italian leathers, suedes and nubucks. A couple weeks ago, Jordan Brand released this brand new colourway of the Air Jordan 2 Low. Featuring a soft white leather upper, burgundy coloured accents, and a cracked leather quarter panel, these have that sophisticated, mature vibe to them that lets you rock them dressed up or down. Nike continues to pump out new colourways of the Zoom Vomero 5, which includes this one in “Yellow Strike”. This summer ready colourway is filled with bold, vibrant yellow shades, along with reflective 3M hits throughout. As always, the shoe’s exceptional comfort is due to the tech it’s filled with including a Cushlon midsole, Zoom Air under the heel and forefoot, and a lightweight mesh upper. This month, we saw another new colourway of the Air Jordan 2 release. One of the most wearable colourways ever, the “Cement Grey” Air Jordan 2 incorporates a white leather upper, grey accents, and vintage looking cream hits as well. Watch my review and let me know if you are a fan of these or not!
Nike recently brought back the Kobe 4 Protro to honour what would have been Gigi Bryant’s 17th birthday. This “Mambacita” colourway is dressed in a simple white and black make up, with subtle hits of gold and red to honour the late Laker Legend’s late daughter. To celebrate this year’s New Balance Grey Day, the brand dropped a pack of Made in USA pairs featuring a grey / blue colour scheme.
