To celebrate the 2024 Paris Olympics, New Balance dropped a collection available only at their La Marais store in Paris. Included in this collection which was designed in part by artist Franck Pellegrino, was this 997. This Made in USA model features a unique blend of colours, and the typical quality materials that New Balance is known for. Comme Des Garçons Homme released two colourways of the New Balance 1906R late last year, one of which I’m reviewing today. The “White” colourway features white mesh with genuine leather overlays, contrasted against a solid black midsole and heel cup.
