The latest New Balance model has arrived – the 327. Collaborating with menswear label Casablanca, these dropped in the end of April in two colourways, both constructed with premium touches with a retro flair. One of the most hyped releases so far in 2020, the Ben & Jerry’s collab with Nike dropped last week, releasing a very limited SB Dunk Low Pro model. Done in an outrageously loud design, with cues to Ben & Jerry’s ice cream packaging, these are many people’s top shoes of the year. Watch my review to learn more and to hear my thoughts! One of the most beloved Air Jordan 13s makes its return this coming Saturday, May 30th! The “Flint Grey” 13s original debuted in 1998 and its popularity is evident as it’s been retroed twice already before this year’s version. My latest pickup is a New Balance 998 that dropped in 2019. With a Parra “Amsterdam” vibe to them, these 998s are Made in USA, and feature a luxurious burgundy suede upper with teal and grey hits throughout. Part of the Air Jordan 1 City Pack, the “Paris” inspired Air Jordan 1 Low was a must have for me, and one of the nicest AJ1 Lows I’ve seen in a while! With a cool pastel coloured upper constructed out of leather, suede and nylon, these are going to be amazing for the upcoming summer season. Check out my detailed review to learn more!
Another one of my pickups from last month’s NBA All-Star Weekend was the women’s Air Jordan 1 High in the “NC to Chi” colourway. Paying homage to Michael Jordan’s progression from a North Carolina Tar Heel, to the NBA with the Chicago Bulls, these feature incredible leather on the upper with power blue and red accents throughout.
