Dropping tomorrow, April 16th, we have Sean Wotherspoon and Adidas’ latest collaboration, the ZX 8000 “SuperEarth”! Part of the 26-pair A to ZX collection, this pair represents the letter W, and is constructed in a mismatching, patchwork fashion using vegan recycled materials. One of the more anticipated Asics releases of the year, to celebrate the model’s 30th anniversary and Atmos’ 20th anniversary, together with Sean Wotherspoon they collaborated together on a Gel-Lyte III which finally landed in Canada last week. Featuring mismatching pairs representing LA and Tokyo respectively, these utilize a corduroy upper and interchangeable Velcro Asics vector logos for a truly unique look. Probably the most sought after release of this year’s Air Max month calendar, the winner of last year’s Vote Forward contest finally dropped worldwide on Air Max Day. This mash up of an Air Max 1 and 97 by Sean Wotherspoon features a corduroy upper dressed in bright pastel shades that will be perfect for the coming spring and summer. Nike’s annual Air Max Month starts tomorrow which leads to a culmination on Air Max Day on March 26th! Historically, this month has been a great month for Nike enthusiasts with tons of heat drops, and at least here in Toronto, unique art installations and parties to celebrate the greatness that is Air.
