ASICS’ first Canadian flagship store is set to open its doors today, March 9th, but last night we got an early preview of the amazing space! Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, the space features an impressive two floors of retail space – the main floor housing performance oriented footwear and apparel, and the top floor carrying ASICSTIGER lifestyle pieces.

As if February didn’t have enough heat releases, we ended the month with the re-release of the Nike Flyknit Trainer in the much loved “Black / White”, or “Oreo” colourway. Always being a fan favourite, these Trainers released almost identical to its OG form and it was to no surprise that they flew off the shelves on the very first day. Nike’s annual Air Max Month starts tomorrow which leads to a culmination on Air Max Day on March 26th! Historically, this month has been a great month for Nike enthusiasts with tons of heat drops, and at least here in Toronto, unique art installations and parties to celebrate the greatness that is Air. With so many pairs releasing, I have to be picky with what I’m planning on copping. With that said, these are the pairs that have caught my eye, sitting at the top of my list:
Jordan Brand and Drake’s October’s Very Own label is back with another collab, this time on the Air Jordan 8 model. My latest review covers the White / Metallic Gold colourway, which was made available to the public mid-February to much anticipation!

This past weekend, Japanese label Neighborhood teamed up with Adidas to release a collection of footwear and apparel. My favourite of the pack was the I-5923 (formerly known as the Iniki Runner), done in a monochromatic black and white fashion. Canadian boutique Haven’s latest collab is with Asics Tiger on the Gel-Lyte MT silhouette. Inspired by west coast Canada where urban metropolis meets woodlands and coastal mountains, this winterized version of the Gel Lyte 3 drops this Saturday! Thanks to Asics Canada for the early pair!
