In Jordan Brand tradition, to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, they’re releasing a special edition Air Jordan 1 Low OG. This “Year of the Snake” colourway pairs smooth white and grey leather with ripstop nylon (reminiscent of snakeskin) and iridescent accents. In today’s video I’m reviewing a shoe I picked up on discount – the New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080 Utility in “Arctic Grey”. This Utility version is extremely similar to the normal 1080 V13, but features genuine suede throughout the shoe and is dressed in a tonal look – all done up in a beautiful grey-blue shade. Kith’s latest project with Madison Square Garden saw the release of three New Balance models – a 991 V2, and two Numeric 480s which fall under the brand’s skateboarding line. As part of Kith’s Winter ’24 line, they dropped a couple of Asics collaborations, including the Gel-Nimbus 10.1 that I’m reviewing today. This pair features white mesh, with silver synthetic leather and TPU overlays resulting in a dark, winteresque vibe. The upper of this shoe is also paired with the tooling of the Gel-Kayano 14, resulting in a familiar but still new fusion. Shenzhen-based boutique, Costs, is set to release their follow up collab with Saucony, again with a Kinvara 4 RE silhouette. This “Meterorite Sand” colourway brushes the entire shoe with a clay-like, red toned finish, while pairing the synthetic layers with premium nubuck, and an iridescent Saucony logo on the side. A bright and bold colourway that offers a little something different stylistically, while still retaining incredible comfort that the model is known for. Saucony joined up with Parisian boutique, Starcow, to drop this masterpiece of a colourway of the Progrid Omni 9. Releasing late last week, this colourway features various shades of green along the upper in a combination of mesh, genuine suede, and more. Hints of orange provide some pop along with subtle golden accents as well. Check out my review and see how these are on feet!
