One of the best Asics shoes to release this year is the Lapstone & Hammer collab, nicknamed “The Spark”. This take on the Gel-Kayano 12.1 is both simple but premium, with genuine leathers, canvas and suede used, along with a simple colour palette with a bit of pop. The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 992 “Calm Be The Crater” is the duo’s latest project together. This Made in USA pair features vibrant colours inspired by Oregon’s Crater Lake – with bold blue mesh, hairy suede, and reflective green panels throughout. Japanese label, WTAPS, just dropped their newest New Balance collaboration. This time it’s their take on a new model – the Abzorb 2010. Nike SB did the unthinkable, releasing this retooled version of the Air Max 95, made for performance in mind. This runner turned skateboard shoe features the classic look of the 95 runner, but incorporates subtle changes like a softer upper, wider fit, and lower to the ground feel. Is this Nike’s next big model? Recently, the Swoosh launched the Ava Rover – a lifestyle model that utilizes one of their top running shoe technologies – ReactX foam. The 40th signature model from Michael Jordan is here. The Air Jordan 40 just dropped in its debut colourway called “The Classic”. Featuring a sleek and sophisticated design, it’s crafted using premium materials and incorporates callbacks to many of the previous signature models that came before it.
