It’s been a while, but Jordan Brand has finally brought back the beloved “Grape” Air Jordan 5. Last seen in OG form in 2013, this 2025 retro is as close to the original ’90 release as we’ve seen, with an improved shape, genuine white leather along the upper, and the signature purple and teal tones. I picked up my first ever pair of the Asics Gel-Nunobiki, with this pair being part of the 6-pair collection released in collaboration with Kith. This “Delicioso / Pure Silver” colourway features a matcha-like green synthetic upper along with brown mesh and silver accents. I’m back with another review of the New Balance Abzorb 2010. This colourway released as part of the brand’s Grey Day collection and it features a mix of mesh, soft nubuck and suede, and reflective detailing. Nike’s Zoom Field Jaxx for Travis Scott released in a new colourway a few weeks ago. This “Pale Ivory / Leche Blue” pair features a suede and textile upper in a unique mix of colours, along with design cues taken from the Nike Land Shark and Zoom Spiridon. The sequel pair to the 2018 release, Jordan Brand is back with another pair of Air Jordan 3s that pay homage to the South Korean capital – Seoul. This version opts for more cream tones, as opposed to the pure white on the OG, resulting in a more aged appearance. However, the signature red, blue and black tones remain which stay true to the home of the 1988 Olympics. Check out my review for a detailed look and review!
Action Bronson and New Balance followed up on the “Untitled” 990 V6 with their fourth 990 V6 collaboration called “Amazonia”. Dropping a few weeks back to celebrate the NBA All-Star Game was the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Sail”. This special edition release replaces the snake scales on the lateral side with showtime stars, paying homage to basketball fans’ favourite February event. The colourway is all about simplicity with a light toned upper accented with a black Swoosh. Tune into my review and leave your thoughts on these below!

Following up last year’s debut model, Nike has unveiled the Air Max DN8 model, which offers improved ground feel, smooth transition, and comfort utilizing its Dynamic Air midsole technology. The first colourway to drop in Canada is this bold “Hyper Pink” colourway, and it completely covers the mesh-based upper.
