SoleSavy SS1 V2 “The Disappearing City” Review
SoleSavy recently brought back a second colourway of their custom SS1 silhouette, manufactured by Garrixon Studios in Philadelphia. Utilizing genuine Air Jordan 1 soles, the upper is built from the ground up using premium materials, with a colour palette inspired by the Kith x Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation x New Balance 998 “Chutney”. Instagram moodboard turned brand – Hidden NY, is releasing their collaboration with Asics on the Gel-NYC tomorrow, March 23rd. This pair draw inspiration from their online origins, with references to digital design tools like a pixelated Asics stripe on the side. Air Jordan 3 Retro “Green Glow” Review
Jordan Brand brought back the “Green Glow” colour scheme, famously used on the 2013 Air Jordan 4, but this time on the Jordan 3 instead. With similar colour blocking to the “Black Cement” 3, this pair differs as it features suede on the tongue, and vibrant green hits throughout the sneaker allowing it to stand out on its own. New Balance recently launched the Brights Revival pack of the 991 V2 silhouette – dropping two vibrant, bold colourways of their newest Made in England model. The pair I’m reviewing today is the “Yellow”, aka “Orange” colourway, which is crafted in a faded orange tone in a mix of pig suede, mesh and synthetic layers.
