New Balance is dipping into their archives, going back to 1999 to bring back the 1000 silhouette. One of the first general release colourways is this one that I’m reviewing today in “Silver Metallic / Black”. JJJJound released their elevated take on the Adidas Samba late last month – but it wasn’t without controversy. Featuring Dynamic Air technology, it is built to give the wearer a more dynamic feel underfoot, with a massive, two chamber, four tube Air unit in the heel which features two distinct pressure levels. SoleSavy recently brought back a second colourway of their custom SS1 silhouette, manufactured by Garrixon Studios in Philadelphia. Utilizing genuine Air Jordan 1 soles, the upper is built from the ground up using premium materials, with a colour palette inspired by the Kith x Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation x New Balance 998 “Chutney”.
