As part of the Common Youth Collection, this joint project between London-based boutique, Foot Patrol, and Australia’s Highs and Lows, is a nod to the similarities between the two cultures during the 80s and 90s. Based out of Brazil, Cariuma is a new player in the sneaker scene featuring clean, and versatile footwear with the flavour of Rio. They sent me a pair of the Catiba Low model which is what I’m covering in my latest review. This colourway is super minimalistic which makes it perfect to be worn both dressed up or down. One of the more anticipated drops from Jordan Brand released today with the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4! Featuring Cactus Jack branding in a colour scheme paying homage to his hometown Houston Oilers’ NFL franchise, these were a limited drop that sold out instantly! Nike’s annual Air Max Month starts tomorrow which leads to a culmination on Air Max Day on March 26th! Historically, this month has been a great month for Nike enthusiasts with tons of heat drops, and at least here in Toronto, unique art installations and parties to celebrate the greatness that is Air. With so many pairs releasing, I have to be picky with what I’m planning on copping. With that said, these are the pairs that have caught my eye, sitting at the top of my list:

Should certain storied or classic shoes (think along the lines of Air Max 90 “Infrared”, Air Max 95 “Neon”, Air Jordan 1 “Bred”, Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement”) always be stocked on shelves and be available to purchase in stores akin to a general release? Or sold sparingly over the years in limited numbers?
