This Made in USA pair features cream, brown, and beige tones, drawing comparison to the “Mindful Grey” (Cream) general release pair from 2023. Legendary pro skateboarder, Ishod Wair, just released his second signature sneaker with Nike SB, named the Air Max Ishod. Dropping in two colourways, today I’m reviewing the “Persian Violet / Obsidian” colourway (from a lifestyle wearer’s perspective), which fuses retro 90 design, Air Max influences, on a pro skateboarder’s silhouette. Last year, Ronnie Fieg worked with Adidas Originals and Clarks to design and release the 8th Street Samba – a unique twist on this classic Adidas shoe. A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand close off 2023 with one final collab, this time a two-shoe Air Jordan 5 pack nicknamed “Dawn” and “Dusk”. Crafted using a mix of premium fabrics such as tweed, corduroy, wool and more, this is the perfect sneaker to wear in the chillier months with a more grown up look and feel. Asics recently released this fresh general release colourway of their popular Gel-Kayano 14 model. Named “Simply Taupe / Oatmeal”, it has a more premium feel with a tonal mesh and suede upper, in various shades of cream and beige. Celebrating the X-Men’s 60th Anniversary, Kith teamed up with Marvel and Asics to release 7 different colourways of the Gel-Lyte III, each representing different iconic X-Men characters.
