In today’s video I’m reviewing a pair of the New Balance 990 V4 that has already been available overseas but not yet in North America. This Made in USA pair features a sail coloured mesh, grey suede and black overlays on one of my favourite silhouettes offered by the brand. Asics looks to ride their wave of success in 2024, and they kicked off the year with this “White / Black” coloured GT-2160. Last year, Ronnie Fieg worked with Adidas Originals and Clarks to design and release the 8th Street Samba – a unique twist on this classic Adidas shoe. To close out the year, they released two new colourways on Christmas Day, one in White / Black, and the other a Multicoloured pair. Just making it before the end of the year is this brand new “Midnight Navy” colourway of the Air Jordan 3. Adopting the “Fire Red” Air Jordan 3 colour blocking style, this versatile sneaker opts for dark blue accents that compliment the white leather and elephant print. Based off of the 2006 DMP 11s, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan 11 “Gratitude” later this week on December 9th. Replacing the nylon upper for a tumbled white leather instead, it otherwise remains fairly true to the original with glossy, black patent leather, gold coloured detailing, and a translucent outsole that made the Air Jordan 11 famous. This OG colourway of the Air Jordan 12 is back after nearly 15 years since its last retro! The “Cherry” or White/Red Air Jordan 12 recently returned in all its glory, with a soft tumbled leather upper, pebbled red leather overlays, and that incredible Zoom Air that first debuted on an Air Jordan model back in ’97. Saucony’s “Coffee Pack” consisted of two shoes inspired by two types of coffee. For today’s video, I’ll be reviewing the Shadow 6000 “Cappuccino”. These feature a mix of brown pig suede, beige nubuck and leather panels, and white hits representing the frothy milk. Check out my review to learn more and to see how these look on feet!
To celebrate the opening of Kith’s Toronto location, they are releasing two Canadian-themed colourways of the New Balance 1700. Today I’m reviewing the “Marshmallow” colourway which was available at Kith stores as well as Kith’s website. Crafted using a light grey pig-suede, they also have Kith co-branding throughout, and bold red hits as well. Check out my review and drop a comment below!
Aimé Leon Dore brought back a 1982 tennis sneaker from New Balance – the T500. Releasing as part of the brand’s Fall / Winter 2023 lineup, they dropped in three colourways. Today, I’ll be reviewing my fave of the three, the “White / Green” pair, that features quality leather uppers and vintage colour blocking atop a classic, clean, silhouette design.
