Action Bronson and New Balance have linked up again to release three colourways of the 1906R. Today I’m reviewing the most limited “Scorpius” colourway. The Nike Air Max Sunder from 1999 is finally back, 25 years later, in its original form! This “Canyon Gold” womens colourway just dropped to much anticipation from fans of this trainer. Featuring an outer spandex sleeve, a nubuck mudguard with reflective details, Phylon midsole and Max Air cushioning stay true to the originals. Releasing earlier this month was the women’s Air Jordan 4 “Vivid Sulfur”. A twists on the colour blocking of the Fire Red 4s, these opt for bold yellow tones atop a white leather base. New Balance is dipping into their archives, going back to 1999 to bring back the 1000 silhouette. One of the first general release colourways is this one that I’m reviewing today in “Silver Metallic / Black”. A mesh upper is complimented with bold, silver synthetic leather layers, designed with a dynamic and fluid appearance. Following a pre-order offered last July, Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance’s latest 860 V2 collaboration finally began landing in consumers’ hands earlier this month. This three-shoe pack included the pair I’m reviewing today, which is covered in a neon yellow mesh with silver synthetic overlays – definitely a head turner. I recently picked up a pair of the New Balance 990 V6 “Sulphur” on sale, which had previously been sitting on store shelves for weeks. This Made in USA pair, part of Teddy Santis’ Season 3 collection, features a mix of pale yellow mesh and pig suede, along with bold green accents with the New Balance “N” logo and tongue.
