To celebrate the 2024 Paris Olympics, New Balance dropped a collection available only at their La Marais store in Paris. Headlining this collection which was designed in part by artist Franck Pellegrino, was this 990 V6. This Made in USA model features a unique blend of colours, and the typical quality materials that New Balance is known for. Australian-based boutique, Above the Clouds, is back with another Asics GT-2160 collaboration. This time, it utilizes brown, cream and red hits, while still retaining the essence of the 2023 “Green” colourway. As usual, a translucent mesh covers the toebox – so your socks matter! Capitalizing on the current trend of Y2K running shoes turned everyday sneakers, Nike relaunched the Air Pegasus 2005 model. Inspired by the colours of the Australian bush in autumn, this pair features a mesh upper, fuse overlays, trail-inspired laces and lace lock, and even custom carabiners attached to the tongue. JJJJound is back with another take on Adidas’ Samba model. This time though, it ditches the “Made in Germany” fiasco, but this Vietnam-made pair is arguably just as nice. Crafted out of a hairy tan suede, it’s complimented with brown accents throughout. Anyone out there pick up a pair of these also?
